Slide rules HOME page | COLLECTION | 10" RULES | U.S.A. |
Make | Pickett, USA |
Model | N4-T Vector type - Log-log dual base speed rule |
Notes 1. This rule has 34 scales - a record?
3. The rule is surprisingly compact. The surface area of the rule (including end
braces) is 161 cm2, compared, for example with the Faber Castell 2/83N which
has 30 scales but uses 215 cm2. This gives a very different "feel" to
the two rules; the FC seems large and impressive whilst the Pickett feels much more
functional. |
