1. This rule has similarities to the Simplon Major. The scales on the front are the same but whereas the "Major" has trig scales this rule does not.
2. The tables on factors on the back are very much of their age. The value of g (for gravity) is marked "at London", one of the weight conversions if for "grains" and another unit is for grains per gallon.
