1. Although this rule is clearly marked "U.S. Government" it is also marked "Made in Japan". It was probable made by Ricoh/Relay a Japanses company who made rules for several US companies.

2. It has some similarities to a Ricoh I also own, including a cursor of exactly the same style and the scales on one face are identical to one face of the Ricoh. The end braces however are different.

3. This rule has a DI scale, which is comparatively rare.
